Help create a welcoming and fun experience for every guest who visits Mama Birds. You’ll serve ice cream, assist customers, handle transactions, and help maintain a clean and inviting environment.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service
Scoop and serve ice cream according to company standards
Prepare shakes, sundaes, floats, flights, and specialty desserts
Operate the point-of-sale system and handle transactions
Keep serving, dining, and work areas clean and organized
Wash dishes and assist with daily cleaning tasks
Restock products, toppings, supplies, and packaging
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures

Shift Leader

The Shift Leader serves as the leader on duty during assigned shifts, helping ensure exceptional guest experiences while maintaining Mama Bird’s quality, cleanliness, and service standards. This role supports and coaches team members, assists with opening and closing procedures, handles customer concerns, and helps create a positive and productive work environment. Shift Leaders lead by example, demonstrate strong communication skills, and take pride in delivering a “Love Worth Sharing” experience to every guest.

Create handcrafted inclusions such as brittles, honeycomb, cookie dough, and specialty mix-ins
Follow recipes and production schedules accurately
Package, label, and organize finished products
Maintain ingredient inventory and notify leadership of supply needs
Assist with seasonal flavor and product preparation
Keep workstations clean, organized, and food-safe
Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
