Mama Bird’s started with a simple goal: creating handcrafted ice cream that brings people together. Inspired by family traditions, time spent baking and creating with my girls, and a passion for making memorable desserts, what began as homemade ice cream shared with friends, neighbors, and coworkers soon grew into something special.
As word spread, Mama Bird’s expanded from Saturday farmers markets, local events, and ice cream carts into a community favorite known for its welcoming atmosphere, creative flavors, and unforgettable sweet treats.
From rich French-style ice cream to scratch-made inclusions, every detail is carefully crafted to deliver a decadent dessert experience that feels both comforting and unique.

2013
The First Scoops
Making ice cream with our daughters around the family table sparked something special. What began as a way to spend time together quickly became a passion for creating handcrafted ice cream and sharing it with others. Those early days laid the foundation for everything Mama Bird’s would one day become.
2015
Where It All Began
In 2015, we took a leap of faith and built our very first custom ice cream catering cart. Every Saturday, alongside our young daughters, we served scoops at the Holly Springs Farmers Market.
Those weekends became the beginning of something much bigger than we ever imagined. We built friendships, earned the trust of our community, and created a loyal following that continues to support us today.
Over the next two years, our cart became part of weddings, festivals, corporate events, birthday parties, and countless celebrations. Every event reminded us that ice cream has a unique way of bringing people together.
2017
The First Mama Bird’s Shop
In 2017, we proudly opened Holly Springs’ very first ice cream shop. What began with a single catering cart at the Holly Springs Farmers Market grew into a place where neighbors could gather, families could celebrate, and lifelong memories could be made over handcrafted ice cream.
Every scoop we serve today is rooted in the same values that started our journey—quality, hospitality, and a genuine love for bringing people together.

Today, we’re sharing the Mama Bird’s experience beyond our scoop shop through carefully selected franchise partners and local wholesale relationships.
